Hello all.
Have you missed the "Blast" recently?
In recent issues, "Blast" readers were notified about tennis events in their area (both for juniors and adults), read about staff changes at Palm Coast Tennis Center, heard about Ken Ouellette's new job in Gainesville, read another episode of the telenovela called "Tennis in DeLand," learned about a completely free USTA membership, and much more.
Why haven't YOU had the "Blast" in your mailbox recently? In early March, the distribution model for the "Blast" was changed. While the first 100 issues were free to anyone who wanted to be on the mailing list, that was changed with issue #101. Since then, the "Blast" is distributed exclusively to the members of the Tennis Network of Greater Volusia County only. Membership in that organization is a low $10 (ten) per year. The Network also uses that money to maintain the "Daytonatennis.com" website, support junior tournaments in the area, and more.
Again, for 10 bucks to the Tennis Network, Attn. Treasurer Peg Harper, 5 Barcelona Trail, Ormond Beach, FL, 32174, you can be back on the mailing list. We'd love to have you here. Support your local tennis organization that provides you with weekly updates about tennis in Volusia/Flagler. Thank you very much for your consideration.
